Meet Keith

Keith J. Murphey, MAAT, ATR, LPC
Therapist | Registered Art Therapist | Licensed Professional Counselor
Keith is passionate about helping others and believes that everyone has a story worth telling. With more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field, he has developed a warm, compassionate approach that focuses on meeting clients where they are and helping them discover their strengths, build healthy coping skills, and create meaningful change.
As a Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor, Keith brings creativity and self-expression into the therapeutic process. He is also certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based approach that can help individuals process difficult or distressing experiences and develop healthier ways of responding to them.
Keith has a particular passion for creating comic books and understands the power of art, storytelling, and imagination in helping people communicate experiences and emotions that can sometimes be difficult to put into words. He believes therapy does not have to look the same for everyone and works collaboratively with clients to find approaches that fit their individual needs and goals. Keith strives to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. Whether through conversation, EMDR, art, storytelling, or comic book creation, he helps clients explore their experiences, recognize their strengths, and work toward greater confidence, resilience, and personal growth.
