What? An Expressive Arts & Social Skills Group

Who? Kids ages 8+ who enjoy self-exploration through the use of the creative process.

What is the group about? The group facilitator will provide a safe and structured environment for members to discuss their process, practice social skills, and explore emotions. We will use different art materials to create projects that group members can take home with them.

Listening, following directions, and experimenting with art materials for creative development.
Discussion, sharing, and identifying common themes to explore.
Increase confidence through art-making and relationship building.
Practice solving problems and making decisions with peer support.

Where? Art Therapy & Creative Counseling, LLC; 180 Westbrook Rd. Unit 3 Essex, CT.

When? Eight (8) sessions meeting weekly
