Meet Rebecca

Rebecca Tydeman, LMFT

~Ages 17+ Adults, Couples, Relationship Coaching~

Rebecca is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Education from

the University of South Carolina. She holds a Masters of Family Therapy from Southern Connecticut State University. Rebecca believes that the quality of interpersonal relationships is a primary factor in wellness. She specializes in relational work; couples and family therapy, parenting skills, social skills, grief, and interpersonal effectiveness. Rebecca utilizes modalities including but not limited to CBT, solution-focused therapy, structural family therapy, and Gestalt. Rebecca has experience working with clients struggling with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, ADHD, ASD, and more. Rebecca values the strong connections she has with her clients as a vehicle for healing and change. She believes in the transformative power of peer support and has experience facilitating many groups including social learning and grief. Rebecca enjoys being active outside, spending time with loved ones and engaging in music. She practices a balanced self-care plan including wellness of mind, body, and spirit, and assists clients in creating and maintaining this as well.
