Sofia LaChance, LPC
~Adolescents, Families and Young Adults~
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from Assumption University. I have worked in a variety of settings, including in-home, mainstream schools, residential group homes, and the private sector. I tailor my approach and sessions to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with. Whether you’re managing stress, overcoming symptoms of anxiety and depression, navigating relationships, or coping with life transitions, I will work collaboratively with you to develop effective strategies and empower you to make positive changes in your life. My approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and fostering a strong therapeutic alliance. I work collaboratively with clients to explore strategies that promote self-care, such as mindfulness practices and stress reduction techniques. I am dedicated to ongoing professional development and regularly engage in supervision and training to enhance my skills and knowledge. I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
